Industry Vet Named VP of Sales & Marketing

WEST SOMERVILLE, MASS. – (July 20, 2010) – Work Technology Corporation, an industry leader in enterprise asset management (EAM) and workforce management software, is pleased to announce that Mike Gondek has joined the leadership team as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Mr. Gondek is brings more than 10 years of workforce management leadership experience, including founding a workforce scheduling software company that provided simplified solutions to complex workforce management problems.  He successfully built an international distributorship for his company’s software, and led the company to double and triple-digit year-over-year revenue growth each year of the company.  He sold the company to an industry giant in 2010, and spent the past 12 months working in philanthropy.

As a sales leader, Mr. Gondek successfully negotiated contracts with industry leaders such as Shell Oil, British Petroleum, Sunoco, Mohegan Sun Casino, BC Ferries, MGM-Mirage, Kaiser Permanente, Quaker Oats, several state Departments of Corrections and smaller commercial enterprises.  He negotiated contracts with customers as far away as South Africa and Asia, and his leadership led to 99% customer retention rates.

Mr. Gondek will be primarily responsible for helping the company to grow its time and attendance solution in the energy sector.  The company currently provides time and attendance software that complements Maximo installations by bridging the gap between labor and assets.   Mr. Gondek also sees significant growth opportunities for the company’s Contractor Cost Tracking system (CCTS) in the energy sector, with a heightened awareness and emphasis on compliance and safety.
